Performance Comparison of WDM MIMO RoFSO Links for 5G Applications

The ubiquitous deployment of 5G systems is expected shortly. 5th generation are envisioned to deliver a comprehensive selection services with revolutionary data rates through single network. Optical fiber networks going be the backbone such endowing huge transfers. Radio over Fiber (RoF) promising network architecture that can provide all provisions envisaged in development systems. However, certain scenarios, these optic may encounter empirical problems deployment. Free Space (RoFSO) links used as an alternate environments. To increase carrying capacity link, Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) communication equipping multiple wavelengths used. free space link suffer from atmospheric disturbances like rain, fog, and haze. In adverse conditions, Multiple Input Output (MIMO) transceivers performance. this work, performance analysis WDM MIMO RoFSO frequencies carried out. work also presents comparison path links, channel combination these. It found that, transporting channels system tremendously while setup maintain transmission range even when high used.
